To promote the annual Cinco de Mayo office party, we created a campaign that pokes fun at the idea of appropriating a holiday that most people in our culture don’t understand. Why celebrate Cinco de Mayo? What do we actually know about Mexican culture?
The posters feature four illustrations of some of the most prominent Mexican figures and a party invitation message alluding to their life experiences or careers. The campaign enabled us to create a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for the party while also offering an educational opportunity for the office. It aimed to ignite curiosity and deepen our team's understanding of Mexican culture.
